SPCA Detectives Charge A Brentwood Man With Animal Cruelty

On Friday, June 8, 2018 a Brentwood man was arrested and charged with animal cruelty.


After a lengthy and comprehensive investigation, Willie Jordan, 47,  was charged with one (1) count of animal cruelty for failure to provide proper sustenance including food to his dog Bruce a 2-year-old male pit bull. The severely emaciated dog was immediately taken to a Veterinary Hospital where aggressive life saving medical care was provided. The dog has since been adopted by a veterinary technician from the Animal Hospital.


Jordan was arrested without incident by SPCA detectives at approximately 11:20 a.m. on Friday, June 8, 2018.  He was released on station house bail, and his court date for arraignment is August 9, 2018.
