Hybrid Wolf Stolen From Town of Brookhaven Ecology Center, SPCA Offering $5,000 Reward


Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the theft of Nakita, a 7-year-old female hybrid wolf, that was surrendered to the Ecology Center located at 249 Buckley Road, Holtsville from the Suffolk County SPCA in August 2017. The incident occurred between June 24 at 4 pm and June 25, 2018, at 7 am.

The Suffolk County SPCA is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the theft of the wolf.
