The hot summer is coming!
Planning ahead can certainly pay off when it comes to your pets’ comfort. We have found that shaving thick-coated dogs and cats in May/June goes a long way toward making such pets comfortable in the summer. They are less prone to heat stroke, more active, easier to keep clean and easier to manage shedding.
The cost for such services are usually the regular grooming fee (goes by breed) plus a shave down fee. Most pets do not have to be tranquilized but some may have to be.
