Detectives with the Suffolk County SPCA charged a Huntington man with animal cruelty on Friday, October 12th, 2018.
William Woods Jr., 55, was charged with two counts of animal neglect (353 AM) for failure to provide proper sustenance to his two Pit Bull canines. A 2-year-old female Pit Bull and a 2-year-old male Pit Bull were found emaciated. The dogs were removed to Huntington Town Shelter. Four 3-month-old Pit Bulls were also found in his possession and they were also removed from the property.
Woods is scheduled to appear in 1st District Court on 12/12/2018.
