Officers Rescue Dog Stuck in Cat House


Suffolk County Police Fifth Precinct officers rescued a dog that got his head wedged in a cat house in Medford Friday, November 14th, 2014.

Fifth Precinct Officers Stephen Lukas and Martin Gill along with Sergeant Kit Gabrielsen responded to the backyard of a woman’s home after she reported that her dog, Buddy, was stuck in a cat house. The officers used crow bars and a hammer to dismantle the cat house and freed the Golden Retriever.

Buddy was unharmed and returned to his owner.
